Soil Pep is a custom soil conditioner and top-dressing mulch made with composted forest products and composted steer manure. This blend adds organic matter and nutrients while helping offset the nitrogen depletion that can occur as some forest products break down.
Mixed into existing soil, Soil Pep helps loosen compacted ground and improve soil structure, water retention, drainage, and root-growing conditions. It can also be applied as a surface mulch to conserve moisture, help reduce weeds, and protect perennial flowers and roses during winter.
